Memoriam - The Triumphants

THOSE WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE US:

The death of a community member saddens us all. A void remains as the brother with whom you have walked with for years -- even decades -- is physically no longer with us. Yet, the Mass of Christian Burial offers us the opportunity to praise and thank God for the love and mercy he has shown the deceased brother. Our cemetery now contains the remains of 38 of these heroic men. In the past 3 years our community has seen eight of these elders die in their fullness of time. They persevered to old age until their season to pass on to the prize of eternal life had arrived. For the rest of us it is indeed a great privilege to have been part of their wisdom years.

We offer thanksgiving to God for the gift of life which has been returned to God, the author of life. These are the most recent monks who have joined the ranks of the triumphant.
