The Abbey Store provides the unique opportunity for visitors to purchase a wide variety of fine gourmet food, gifts and books. Many of the food products are made at The Monastery Bakery by the Monks.
Garden Center & Bonsai
Visitors may explore the Bonsai Garden and Nursery, which showcase a wide variety of miniature trees, including several rare species grown and cultivated by the monks. Bonsai trees, pottery and accessories are also available for purchase in the Abbey Garden Center.
The Monastery of the Holy Spirit’s Bonsai Garden, Nursery and Abbey Garden Center provide a fun and educational experience for the whole family. Whether it’s shaping the tree or selecting a pot suitable to the beauty of the tree, everyone has the chance to create a masterpiece.
Cistercian monks at the Monastery have been crafting classical bonsai for more than 35 years. Our nursery was one of the first in the Southeast to offer Bonsai to the public., and showcases a wide variety of miniature trees.
Visit our greenhouse 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Saturday. Bonsai trees, pottery and accessories are available for purchase in the Abbey Garden Center.
